Can I Order Samples Online from HamiltonParker.com?

Yes, you can request samples by clicking “Request Sample” from our product pages. Hamilton Parker account holders and approved users get this service free of charge. There are some limitations on select products due to price, size, manufacturer requirements, country of origin, etc.

Will I Receive a Full Piece of Product When I Request a Hamilton Parker Sample?

Often, “sample chips” for tile (approximately 4”x4”) in size, or a cut piece is provided. Mosaics are often sampled in smaller sections and adhered to a sample card. If a full-size piece is needed, it may require a minimum purchase depending on manufacturer requirements and inventory levels.

Masonry items are often shown on a “hand board” or as a single piece. Multiple pieces may be included depending on product variations. Similar to tile, if a full-size masonry piece is needed, it may require a minimum purchase depending on manufacturer requirements and inventory levels.

Garage door sampling is not typical though there are color and texture swatches available through some manufacturers. This is not an option from our website however a member of our Garage Door Department can assist. Please fill out at a Product Consultation Request Form for more information.

Fireplace sampling is typically very limited, we encourage our customers to view in our showrooms (Columbus, Delaware & Cincinnati* only), taking literature or viewing online images.  *Cincinnati offers only electric fireplaces at this time.

How Many Samples Can I Request at One Time from Hamilton Parker?

We recommend that you do not submit a sample request form for more than 5 items at a time. Requests received with over 5 items may not be fully fulfilled.

If you would like to see more than 5 products at a time, we highly recommend scheduling an appointment with one of our associates to help narrow down your choices and make the decision-making process less overwhelming.

Do Hamilton Parker Product Samples Cost Money?

Though we cannot promise a sample free of charge for everything, many samples will be! You can pick up your samples from your desired HP showroom, arrange shipping or a drop-off by one of our associates. Some costs may apply for shipping based on customer, project, ship-to address etc. Any cost due to you will be communicated ahead of time by the HP associate.

As mentioned previously, there are some availability limitations on select products due to price, size, manufacturer requirements, country of origin, etc.

How Do I Pick Up Samples I Requested from Hamilton Parker?

You will receive confirmation that your samples are available to be picked up from a Hamilton Parker associate.

Head to the showroom you indicated of your sample request form.

Tell our front desk associate you are here to pick up samples and provide them with your first and last name and company name (if applicable).

An associate will retrieve your sample(s) from our sample pickup area. (A sales associate may assist with larger size samples or if additional details are needed.)

If I Like a Hamilton Parker Sample, How Do I Find Out the Purchase Price?

A quote for the material can be provided at the time of pick-up. Quotes often show the minimum purchase quantity needed. If you need a quote for a specific amount of material, you must indicate when submitting your sample request or directly to the HP representative assisting you.

How Long Do I Have to Pick Up My Samples from Hamilton Parker?

When inventory is available, we aim to have samples ready for pick up, drop off or shipment within two business days (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm). If we do not have inventory or if a special order must be made, an HP associate will communicate within two business days with the status.

We ask that samples be picked up as soon as possible after you are informed that they are ready, ideally pick-up would occur within two weeks of being notified. Samples not picked up within this period and without communication will be returned to our inventory and potentially sampled to another customer. Please communicate with us directly if you are unable to pick up within the designated time period.

Do I Need to Return My Hamilton Parker Samples?

Yes, please!

If possible, we encourage our customers and guests to return samples once finished. This helps to ensure samples are available the next time you make a request!

Samples can be returned back in the showroom or communicate with an associate directly for alternative arrangements.

What if Hamilton Parker Doesn’t Have a Sample of a Product I Requested?

We house thousands of samples throughout our locations. When we receive a request for a sample from our website, a designated sample room associate at Hamilton Parker will review the request and pull the necessary sample if we have in inventory.

Dedicated associates work to keep our sample rooms as up-to-date as possible by ordering from our manufacturers, labeling, and organizing inventory. If we do not have the sample on hand, an associate will follow up with you to confirm if we need to place an order and provide a date to expect it. This time varies by manufacturer and department.

I Found a Product I Like Online or at Another Store. Does Hamilton Parker Have Something Similar?

Yes! The Hamilton Parker team can help find the same product or something in a similar style or look.

Bring the sample you have or an image with you to our showroom and we can have an associate do a match or show you similar products and give you more information.

Even if we don’t have this product on hand, we can try to special order a sample for you to see this alternative option in person.
