Vihara

Sustainably made with upcycled glass, each Vihara tile is handmade of twisted tones, textures and hues  that come together as one singular mosaic. Captivating hues emerge from a  luminous iridescent or matte silk finish, offering a range of design applications from the sophisticated to the sublime. Distinct for its artful complexity, there is no substitute.

Bands of colored glass twist together in a marble-like effect, resulting in painterly, textural glass mosaics. Surface folds, shallow cracks and unexpected chips imbue a singular character to each tile, bringing texture and a dynamic range of hues to your space. Stunning at a distance or up close, Vihara is mesmerizing.

Vihara elicits an instinctual attraction to natural beauty. Handmade from post-consumer recycled glass, Vihara brings forth the complex path of its “maker” story into beautiful mosaics. Every textural ripple and wrinkle is celebrated for its nod to the master craftsmen and craftswomen who make each tile.

A wide range of variation in color, shade and surface texture are to be expected.  Surface folds, shallow cracks and minor edge irregularities (including occasional chipped sides/ edges) are also natural characteristics of Vihara.
